Water Breath Spell

Effect    : Swim like a fish or at least breath like one

This spell enchants the throat and lungs of the target, allowing him to breathe
water for a short period of time and thus permitting access to underwater
areas.  In addition with aid of this spell, most water areas can be crossed.

This spell can be renewed by casting it again.

Weaken Spell


Mana Cost : 50                Target    : victim            Cumulative: Yes
Save      : Versus Spell of no effect
Effect    : 

This spell weakens the opponent by -4 str.  If the victim is wielding a
weapon too heavy for his new strength, he will drop it.  This spell is
accumulative but can not drop a victim's strength below 4.

Whirlwind Spell


Mana Cost : 50                Target    : None
Save      : Versus Breath Weapon to negate
Effect    : "I'll huff, and I'll puff..."

This spell causes gale-force winds to whip around the caster.  All creatures
in the room, including the caster's party but not the caster himself, stop
fighting because they are temporarily blinded.  Every creature must also
save versus breath weapon or be picked up by the wind and thrown out of the
current room, then save again or take damage as they fall to the ground.
All objects in the room are also picked up and expelled from the room by
the wind.

Wind Walk Spell


Mana Cost : 35                Target    : victim
Save      : None
Effect    : 

This spell enables the target to walk through the air with only minor
concentration.  Thus movement is much easier than even walking, and hazards
such as water can be flown over.  In addition, there are areas that are
reachable only to creatures that can walk upon the wind.  Make sure to land
before the spell wears off, or you will plummet to your death!  This spell
can be renewed by casting it again.

Woodcraft Skill

  This skill is a measure of your familiarity with woodland flora &
fauna, and to a lesser extent your knowledge of flora & fauna from
other regions.  Woodcraft is based on DEXTERITY, since it takes great
control over both mind and body to survive countless days in untracked
wilderness relying only on your own resources to learn the ways of the
forest and its creatures.

   This skill has no effect on its own, but it does lead to other
ranger-type skills such as forage and hunt.

Word Of Recall Spell

Mana Cost : 35                Target: None
Save      : None
Effect    : "There's no place like home..."

By invoking this spell the caster will transport themself back to the safety
of their hometown.

Group Heal Spell

Mana Cost : 200               Target    : victim
Save      : None
Effect    : Heals the targeted group

This spell makes it easier to heal your group or a specified group.  If no
argument is specified it will default target your group.  Bonuses to quality
for heal will also apply to group heal.

    Usage:

        cast 'group heal' <target>

    Example 1:

        cast 'group heal'

    Example 2:

        cast 'group heal' <?= %randPlayer() ?>

Group Invisibility Spell

Save      : None
Effect    : Turns the target group invisible

This spell makes it easier to turn a target group invisible.  It targets
your own group if no argument is specified.  Bonuses to quality to invisibility
will also apply to this spell.

    Usage:

        cast 'group invisibility' <target>

    Example 1:

        cast 'group invisibility'

    Example 2:

        cast 'group invisibility' <?= %randPlayer() ?>

Group Sanctuary

Save      : None
Effect    : Heals the targeted group

This spell makes it easier to apply sanctuary to your group or a specified
group.  If no argument is specified it will default target your group.  
Bonuses to quality for sanctuary will also apply to group sanctuary.

    Usage:

        cast 'group sanctuary' <target>

    Example 1:

        cast 'group sanctuary'

    Example 2:

        cast 'group sanctuary' <?= %randPlayer() ?>
