Lich Touch Spell

Mana Cost : 20                Target: self
Save      : None
Effect    : Like Death itself, steal the very life energy from your foe.

This spell fills the hands of the caster with the power of the life-stealing
lich.  Any hit in combat will allow the caster to steal the life of her
opponent.  It also uses mana from the caster on each hp steal.

Link Connection

A lot of players have problems with their links to the game. This could be
very dangerous to your health in the middle of a combat. But we have worked
out a solution. There are two cases:

  I.If your link is broken, you will automatically attempt to flee each
    time someone attempts to hit you. If you manage to flee, then you
    will be saved by divine forces, and put in a safe place until you
    reconnect to the game.

 II.If your link jams (freezes) you got a problem. The only solution we
    can give, is that you break your link as quickly as possible. By
    breaking the link you can hope that the above procedure is initiated.

  If your link goes idle or broken for a certain amount of time, your character will first be moved to Limbo, and then auto-rented.

Listen Skill

With the listen skill you can eavesdrop on conversations occuring in a
neighbouring room. With this skill you will be able to overhear questions
being asked, talking, and whispering. Depending on your skill you will be
able to overhear more or less of the conversations occuring. To begin
listening you just need to listen in the proper direction.

    listen <direction>
    listen east

To stop listening you just need to type abort.

Locate Creature Spell


Mana Cost : 35                Target    : victim
Save      : None
Effect    : "Here Spot! ... Here boy! Now, where'd that dog go?"

If possible, locate creature will tell you exactly where a creature is. If more
than one by the same name exists, you will get a listing of several creatures.
The maximum number of creatures you can simultaneously locate is your level
divided by 2.

Lock Skill

This is a thief skill and allows you to lock a door or a lockable
object.
Usage       : lock door
            : lock chest

Mana Drain Spell

Usage        : cast 'mana drain' <victim>
Accumulative : -
Duration     : Instantaneous
Save         : Versus spell for no effect.

This spell drains the victim of an amount of mana relative the caster's
level and ability.  It does a token amount of real damage.


Mental Attack Spell


Mana Cost : 50                Target    : victim
Save      : Versus Spell for half damage
Effect    : 

This spell launches a powerful mental attack on the targets mind. Mental
Attack is one of the best offensive spells to be found.

Meteor Shower Spell


Mana Cost : 75                Target    : victim
Save      : Versus Spell for half damage
Effect    : Call the very sky down upon your enemies

A very powerful arcana spell enabling the caster to summon meteors from
the heavens which pummel everything in the room except the caster.

Monster Zombie Spell


Mana Cost : 45                Target    : corpse
Save      : None
Effect    : RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD

This is a powerful spell that animates a dead corpse to full strength and
imbues it with all the skills it had while living.  It will follow and
obey its master for sometime aiding in the annihilation of its master's
enemies.  The spell can only be used on corpses of creatures up to 3/4 of
the level of the caster.

Parry Skill

Usage: style parry

   With knowledge of the advanced defensive tactic, parrying, a
warrior can sacrifice a bit of their held weapon's offensive power,
and instead, use it as a defensive tool.  Besides increasing your
armor class and making you harder to hit, you will also be able
to completely deflect an attack, before it has a chance to penetrate
your armor.

   If you are not being attacked, and have no reason to hold back
for defense, you won't.  So you need not stop parrying if a group
member is defending.
