Help
Psychics and Meditation
( Meditate )
This command allows you to learn (at a cost) one of the telepathic skills
in the presence of a psychic. The psychic will usually tell you
who they are, or hints will be given within an area as to their identity.
Skill progression in the telepathic field is similar to regular skills
except that instead of eating up practice sessions, it requires payment.
Considering that the telepathic forms of communication are skills, there
is a chance that you will fail, if so you will know that you failed your
skill-check. Usage of the skills does not use up mana, or anything else,
once you have the skill, its free for you to use, although some skills
have prerequisites.
Usage:
meditate <skill name>
Example:
meditate gtell

Quit
When you get tired of playing, you can leave the game by typing 'quit y'.
Please note! The quit command will NOT save any equipment you have acquired.
If you wish to have your equipment saved, so that the next time you come back
to the Worlds of Carnage you still have it, you must find an inn and use the
rent command.
If you decide you really do want to quit the game and have all your equipment
purged from existence then type quit confirm.

Races
( Species )
( creation )
There are various creatures that inhabit the Worlds of Carnage of which a
small group may be chosen by you for your character. The race of a creature
determines to a great deal what it will be good at accomplishing. For instance
gnomes make excellent mages, whereas trolls make better warriors. While there
is no restriction on what you can choose to make of your character, you will
find that it is much more difficult to have it learn a set of skills for which
it is not suited. Such skills will be less powerful and will consume more of
your precious practice points when increasing the potential. The following
races are available for you to play. They are listed along with their racial
minimum and maximum stats.

Re-Issuing Commands (//)
( Reissue Reissuing )
With the game keeping track of your command history it is now possible for
you to repeat a command from an arbitrary position in your history. To repeat
a command you can use the old ! command for the most recent command, or you
can use the new // command.
Usage:
// [<index>]
Example:
//
//5
// 5
Note that if you repeat a command it will be placed in the most recent history
slot. This means you can't keep doing //5 to repeat the same command. However
it does mean you can replay several commands in sequence from your history.
