Here is my rant and whine about the portal transport system not being implemented yet!

Blobbie said he put an imm on the task, so here I am whining about it not being completed rather than getting off my lazy arse and trying to learn to code myself!

When you post idea upon idea upon idea, knowing the IMP is busy in RL, and the other imms don't have the talents he does, you'd be best to get off said arse and lend a hand to the development of the mud.

I personally haven't even been playing much let alone building/coding. I've spoken to Blobbie as to why, and that's who I answer to in terms of these things, so multiple prods in multiple threads on getting portals done won't necessarily yield the results you may desire.

Cheers.

There is reason behind my madness in calling myself 'the Tempermental Virtuouso'.

Building hard areas w/o a ton of easy outs/work arounds for players. Areas that contain quests that people don't just figure out 100% in the first hour they spend in the area. Areas where the risks balance the rewards - if one ever figures out how to get to those rewards.

Believe it or not Angrorn has a lot of things going on in it that aren't found elsewhere in the mud and it took a lot of time to plan, write, and code to get it to work. Took a lot of help from Blobbie on complex scripts too. But, I wrote most of it myself.

But I guess like you. with your argument about taking critique from people who don't RP with a grain of salt, i'll take critique from those who haven't contributed to the mud beyond the proliferation of an endless list of 'ideas' in a similar fashion.
