I think that troll str should be increased by 1 or rept. and orc str should be reduced by 1 because i dont think that either would be able to hit as hard as a troll. An orc has less regen/ more pracs than a troll and vice versa vs other races, so how can they still hit as hard as a troll?...

Actually, I was thinking more the opposite. Since trolls hit so hard, and orc stats are so mediocre, I was thinking that they should have a str increase.

71 str is 71 str regardless of what race you are. What really plays a part in the damage seems to be the dedicated class that has combat skills vs the hybrid classes. Quality is everything ...
