I raised this concept a few weeks ago, when I took over the reins of fleshing out weak classes. It has been fairly thoroughly discussed for something that is still in its pre-design phase.

Perhaps blobbie has some different ideas, but atm I had planned this to be most useful for Rangers - who dont rely so heavily on spells already.

The druid in its current design looks to be tailored after the D&D druid w/o any combat skills -- they had very little to do with plants outside of getting their holy mistletoe or whatever it was...

Course the anomoly of druids already having brew poison...I dunno.
Will see how it fleshes out, but still think in the end Rangers will be better at finding and utilizing herbs than Druids.

Maybe blob can put his proverbial foot down on whether that idea is sound ;)
