Another Black Knight idea... Ability to rip the still beating heart from a victim as they approach the boundaries of death (e.g. awful condition or HPs dropped to less than 100 during a fight). The heart is then sacrificed to a major demon through a dark ritual in exchange for a HP restore relative to the experience that would have been gained for the kill. As the kill never completed, no experience was gained for the mobs death. HP restore could be say 1 HP for every 500EXP giving upto 60HP for the loss of a 30,000 EXP kill....

I am not shur this would be a good idea, because wouldnt you loose more than 60 hp on a 30k kill?

Yep your right, suggestion was pretty low in terms of relative gain and would probably need to be higher to make it worth its while (slaps back of head). BK does have animate dead tho which can take away some of the usual pain assuming the mob hits the right thing!

Considering its hitpoints you wouldn't gain normally, it's better than nothing.

From how I interpreted this, you'd get HP for a kill, but no exp for the kill.

If I could get a 30K kill, i'd just sleep for the regen before sacrificing that EXP for 60 whole hp ...

(may have read this incorrectly tho)
