Post subject:  Hand to Hand?

Dedicated warrior skill (passive) that increases your hit/dam (compared to normal)when fighting without any weapon. Usefull when you have been disarmed during combat and as you've been trained in the arts of hand-to-hand unarmed fighting, could give additional saves against other fighter related non-weapon attacks (e.g. bash, headbutt and kick)?

Appreciate that you can use draw to re-arm during battle, thoughts were more towards a "brawling" fighter build (not down the martial arts route, purely dirty fighting) who doesn't potentially need to rely upon a weapon to fight. Could include couple of ideas around punch, gouge or head-lock)? Would loose the bonuses from any weapon and would obviously have to have both hands free...

An interesting idea but the bonuses would have to be significant to offset the loss of the damage from the weapon and all +damroll/+hitroll bonuses that the players get from the weapon(s).

Hehe, but at least I might have a better chance against some of the mobs who seem to spam me with 'headbutt' these days if the increase saves were also there! If there's two of them in the room then there's a low chance of a flee, never mind a return headbutt...

Yep, the mob AI, especially with hb/bash/ground smashers is lethal.

You should avoid fighting 2 of these types of mobs.

Also, some things that can help resistance to some/all of these attack types are better CON and flying.

What it really comes down to is not trying to solo mobs w/ these attack types by yerself.
