Makdor is guarded by reasonable guards but it's main attractions are it's teaching staff. They are all experienced teachers and have some nice equipment.

Beldramas teaches Arcana and can be found in his upstairs lab or wandering around the corridors. beldramas has a wizard's hat and an ice dagger. He knows the spell acid splash and has been known to use it if attacked.

The Disciple's room is off the eastern lower corridor and he teaches Piety. He wears a hand necklace and his novice wears a green cloak.

The Earl of Makdor is an accomplished weapons expert and takes great delight in exploring all areas of the castle or locking himself in his room. Gaining an audience with the Earl is not easy but could be profitable especially if you happen to have found his stolen cross. The Earl is a formidable foe and wields his Galzadir sword in a most lethal manner.

Attacking the above three teachers is only for those adventurers who have mastered their abilities.

At the entrance to the castle is a sly dwarf. Although he doesn't look much he is a teacher of stealth and has his own set of picks. I bet he knows how to use them to - if only you could get him to follow you...
